| A New Car !!! |
 Well, not a new car, a first car!
This is Jim with his very first set of wheels. You're looking at a 2000 Ford Focus ZTS.
He's been saving forever and he pretty much paid for the whole thing himself. Mom & Dad had to help with the tax, tags, & title and some minor repairs. But, that's what folks are for. God knows my folks helped me out, thanks Mom & Dad!
Now the reality sets in. As Jim talks about a new stereo, speakers, window tinting, body kits, etc.; we remind him of things like insurance, gas, oil changes, inspections, etc.
Life's not all fun and games kiddo... work hard, play easy, and you'll do OK. |

(Hey Dave, if I save up for the tax, title, registration, gas, and insurance, would you like to buy me a car? I mean, I'm thinking of you here. I'd like you to have the full experience if you're feeling shortchanged...haha.. and you'd be getting the cheaper end of the deal on a day I just had $700+ repair myself)

Good luck Jim!! I am sorry to say, when I was in your position gass was 89cents a gallon, and that was OMG HIGH! Window tint is god awufull to remove when it gets all crackley, listening to music at home uses NO gas, and Plastic body kits get smashed in potholes and stuck in the snow.
Keep her clean (even in the winter) change the oil every 3000 miles or 3 months, and check the air pressure every week or 2. You will be good to go for years to come.

Ok, so Dave, it has been at least 3 decades since your last post.. what has been installed in/on the car so far? I would think you have at least one hidden camera with satellite uplink installed by now!
