| They Did It Right |
Springfield Ford is doing the right thing!
I spoke with the service manager about trying to get my car's body work done on them and his attitude was basically, "It sucks to be you." He compared the situation to me parking in an Acme parking lot and getting hit there. I unsuccessfully tried to explain to him that I do not hand over my car keys and registration to an Acme worker when I park in their lot. I delivered my car to the service shop for work and it was damaged while in their possession... even if it was the parking lot.
A friendly call to the General Manager of Springfield Ford proved more fruitful however. He apologized several times and agreed that I left my car in their care and it was damaged while they had custody of it. I drop my car off on the 26th and they keep it for a week to fix the damage... on them. I also get a free rental out of them!
It reassuring to know that there are still people out there that care and take responsibility for their actions. |
