| ICE Might Save Your Life |
I first heard about ICE on NBC10 news a few nights ago and now I found the following web article: ICE Might Save Your Life
I think this is a hell of a good idea. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. Basically, you create an entry in your cellphone address book like the following:
ICE Michele (wife) 609-555-1234
Now if you are incapacitated and a rescue worker has to contact someone, they can look for the ICE entry in your cellphone address book.
Naturally there have been rumors saying that ICE entries can leave your phone open to hacks but Snopes has put those rumors to rest.
So what are you waiting for? Add an ICE entry to your cellphone's address book; it just may save your life. |

I'm happily married to my high-school sweetheart and have two sons. I love relaxing down the Jersey Shore. I also enjoy sitting by the pool after dinner, talking to the wife, watching the kids, and smoking a cigar.
