| Gas Is Out of Site |
Damn! I just saw a sign in my area that has gas @ $2.39 a gallon for regular!!! That's ridiculous!
Isn't it strange that a Texas oil man is in the White House and gas is hitting all-time highs? "W" wants us to believe that it's OPEC causing the problems. I don't buy it however; OPEC been around for what seems like forever and only during this administration has gas jumped by leaps and bounds.
Ooops, my mistake. The current prices are the 2nd all-time high if you factor in inflation. The inflation adjusted highest price for gas was during the Gulf War in the 1980's. Hmmm... who was president during the Gulf War?
My god... it was "W's" father! Gee, what a surprise. |

I filled up my car the other day. Exxon REGULAR Gasoline cost me $31 to fill the tank. I got my first car at 16 and that was back in 1991. It would take me almost a MONTH to spend $31 on that very same service-station's gas. I pity the people who use higher-grade gasoline AND the people who have 30 gallon tanks with crappy gas-mileage!

Come down to Bethesda, MD - it's $2.45 a gallon! In Laurel, prices vary from $2.19 - $2.29, with prices actually dropping at some stations.
